He has appeared in notable films like Sam Raimi's Drag Me to Hell (2009), James Cameron's Avatar series (2009-present), and Christopher Nolan's Inception (2010). A graduate of the University of California, San Diego, Rao holds an M.F.A. from the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco.
