Mark Linn-Baker is an American actor and director born on June 17, 1954, in St. Louis, Missouri, to a family with a strong theatrical background. He holds an MFA in Drama from the Yale School of Drama, where he honed his craft alongside notable colleagues. Baker's breakthrough role came as Benjy Stone in the 1982 film My Favorite Year, followed by iconic portrayals of Larry Appleton on Perfect Strangers and various stage productions.
