John Francis McElhone was born on April 21, 1963, in Glasgow, Scotland. A member of the Scottish Labour family, he is a guitarist and songwriter who has achieved success with bands Altered Images, Hipsway, and Texas, both reaching top-20 albums on the UK Albums Chart.
