William "Wee Willie" Davis was a pioneering American actor and wrestler, born in New York City in 1906. He gained recognition for his roles in films like "To Catch a Thief" (1955) and "Abbott and Costello in the Foreign Legion" (1950). After his acting career, Davis worked as a gym guard at the Jefferson County Jail in Louisville from 1972 to 1975, and was also an engineer who contributed to the development of the Glowmeter, a groundbreaking Heads-up display.
