Biography

Samuel Levinson is an American filmmaker and actor born January 8, 1985, to Academy Award-winning director Barry Levinson. He made his directorial debut with Another Happy Day (2011) and received a writing credit on HBO's The Wizard of Lies (2017). Levinson created the hit HBO teen drama series Euphoria in 2019, followed by the controversy-prone series The Idol (2023), further establishing his reputation as a versatile writer-director.
