Keith Barron was a renowned English actor and television presenter born on August 8, 1934, in Mexborough, West Riding of Yorkshire. He began his career at the Sheffield Repertory Theatre, where he worked with Patrick Stewart and met his wife Mary. Notable roles include Detective Sergeant Swift in The Odd Man, Nigel Barton in Dennis Potter's plays Stand Up, Nigel Barton and Vote, Vote, Vote for Nigel Barton, and Dowsett in At the Earth's Core.
