Dermot Walsh

Biography

Dermot Walsh was an Irish actor who began his career in the theatre, studying at the Abbey Theatre School and working with Lord Longford's repertory company. He transitioned to film, appearing as a leading man in seven films before returning to the stage, and later resumed his film career in a series of B movies. In television, he appeared in over 100 productions, including the notable role of King Richard the Lionheart in the 1962 TV series.
