Kon Omura was a Japanese comedian and actor who gained popularity in the television黎明期's light comedy of the 1960s and 1970s. Known for his roles as Ryosaku Kitayama in "Gamera vs. Jiger" (1970) and Officer Kon Kondo in "Gamera vs. Guiron" (1969), he earned the nickname "Kon-chan" and became a household name. He also worked with notable comedians, including Flower Drill Tanshu.
