Adam Faith

Biography

Adam Faith was a British rock and roll teen idol who scored consecutive No. 1 hits on the UK Singles Chart with "What Do You Want?" (1959) and "Poor Me" (1960). He became one of the first UK acts to record original songs regularly and was a chart-topping act in the 1960s. Faith also maintained an acting career, appearing in notable roles such as Walter Probyn in "McVicar" (1980) and Frank Carver in "Love Hurts" (1992-1994).
