William Irving
Biography
William Irving was a German-born American film actor, known for his prolific career in over 220 films from 1916 to 1941. He appeared in notable roles, including the cowardly German army cook in All Quiet on the Western Front (1930) and supporting parts in silent era comedies. Irving's appearances decreased with the introduction of sound films, and he was often uncredited. He died in a hit-and-run accident on December 25, 1943.
