Biography

Greta Gynt was a Norwegian singer, dancer, and actress born Margrethe Woxholt in Oslo on November 15, 1916. She began dancing at age 5 and transitioned to acting, starring in British classics like "The Dark Eyes of London" and "Mr. Emmanuel," as well as major films by the late 1940s. Gynt attempted a career in the US with MGM's "Soldiers Three" before returning to Britain. She gained notoriety for her roles in films such as "Dear Murderer" and "Easy Money."
