Lucy Tulugarjuk
Biography
Lucy Tulugarjuk is a renowned Inuk actress, throat singer, and director from Igloolik, Nunavut. She won the Best Actress award at the American Indian Film Festival for her role in Atanarjuat: The Fast Runner (2001) and went on to direct her first feature-length film, Tia and Piujuq, in 2017. Tulugarjuk has also acted in Maliglutit (2015) and co-directed the award-winning film Tautuktavuk (What We See) with Carol Kunnuk in 2023.
