Shin Yazawa is a Japanese actress and entertainer, born on March 16, 1981, in Tokyo. She began her entertainment debut in 1997 and gained recognition with her first lead role in the 2004 film Scramble Hearts. A close friend of actress Eiko Koike since high school, Yazawa has since appeared in notable dramas and films, including Naomi and Kamikaze Girls.
