Juan Gallardo

Biography

Juan Gallardo was a Mexican singer and actor born Raymundo Serafín Arroyo Batzaveth in Ixcapuzalco, Guerrero on March 15, 1940. He began his career as a waiter and singer in the United States before returning to Mexico, where he worked as a taxi driver and mechanic while continuing to perform vernacular music. Gallardo made his film debut in 1964 and went on to appear in numerous telenovelas and films, earning credits alongside notable Mexican actors.
