Biography

Jack Pickford was a Canadian-American actor and sibling of silent film star Mary Pickford. Born John Charles Smith in 1896, he began working on stage with his sisters as child actors after their father's abandonment of the family. He appeared in several films, including "The Bat" (1926), but struggled with personal demons that led to a decline in his career.
