Anna Lee "Boots" Carroll was a renowned American actress born in Birmingham, Alabama on October 7, 1930, who began her career in 1952 at the Town and Gown Theater. She went on to become a leading stage actress in Alabama, starring in dozens of plays and traveling productions until her final role in 2015.
