Margrét Helga Jóhannsdóttir was a pioneering Icelandic actress who graduated from the National Theatre's drama school in 1967 and went on to join the Reykjavík Theatre Company in 1972. She appeared in numerous productions, including Kjartan Ragnarsson's plays, which were performed over 200 times, as well as films like "Virgin Mountain" (2015) and "Gullregn" (2020). Her career spanned multiple mediums, showcasing her versatility on stage and screen.
