Peter Burton

Biography

Peter Ray Burton was born on April 4, 1921, in Bromley, Kent, to Frederick Ray Burton and Gladys Maude Frazer. He is known for his roles as Elliot Collier in "That Kind of Girl" (1963) and Inspector Collis in "Soho Incident" (1956), as well as his notable appearance as Major Boothroyd in the first James Bond film, "Dr. No" (1962). Burton also guest-starred in several television shows, including "The Avengers" and "The Saint".
