Biography

Patricia "Boots" Mallory was an American film actress, dancer, and model born on October 22, 1913, in Mobile, Alabama. She was discovered by director Erich von Stroheim, who cast her in the film version of Dawn Powell's play Walking Down Broadway, a story that has been interpreted as suggesting lesbian themes between Mallory's character and ZaSu Pitts'. Mallory went on to appear in notable films, including "Here's Flash Casey" (1938).
