Igor Kvasha

Biography

Igor Kvasha was a renowned Soviet and Russian theater and film actor, co-founding Sovremennik Theater alongside Galina Volchek, Oleg Yefremov, Yevgeniy Yevstigneyev, and Oleg Tabakov. He graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School and performed at the troupe before joining Sovremennik in 1957. Kvasha was honored as a People's Artist of Russia in 1978 for his contributions to theater, appearing in notable roles including Pastor Adams in "A Man from Boulevard des Capucines" (1987).
