Jean Rouverol

Biography

Jean Rouverol was a talented American actress and screenwriter, born in St. Louis, Missouri, to playwright Aurania Rouverol. Her film career began with a supporting role in "It's a Gift" (1934), followed by a decade of radio performances, including a stint on the popular show "One Man's Family". After marrying screenwriter Hugo Butler and having four children, she wrote a novella that was published during World War II.
