Didi Perego was a statuesque Italian actress born Aida Perego on April 13, 1935, who appeared in over 80 films and television shows. Her breakout role came in 1959 as Sofia in Gillo Pontecorvo's "Kapò," for which she won the Nastro d'Argento award. Perego also starred in Mario Bava's "Caltiki – The Immortal Monster" in the same year, solidifying her place in Italian cinema.
