Biography

Scooter McCrae is an American director born in Brooklyn, New York, who grew up making Super 8 films and developed a passion for science fiction. His directorial debut, Shatter Dead, a zombie film, was inspired by his own low-budget experiences and received positive reviews, including one from Joe Bob Briggs. McCrae's subsequent feature, Sixteen Tongues, further cemented his reputation as a low-budget filmmaker, with writer Mike Watt praising the film in his work.
