In this outrageous comedy, the new Pope (Kad Merad) must navigate a chaotic tour of Latin America when he discovers that a lookalike has been sent in his place by a wealthy Mexican woman (Myriam Tekaïa) who just so happens to be a drug trafficker. Chaos ensues as the Pope tries to outwit his doppelganger and the cartel's leader, Françoise.
