Tender Mercies

A broken-down Country musician seeks a new life in Texas, where he finds friendship and inspiration to resume his career with a young widow and her son. Alcoholic former country singer Mac Sledge awakens at a run-down Texas roadside motel after a night of heavy drinking, and meets the owner, a young widow named Rosa Lee, who hires him to perform maintenance work in exchange for a room.
