In the swirling vortex of Soho's decadence, a young man from Essex finds himself entwined in a world of luxury and art. After fainting upon touching a 16th-century Titian painting at the National Gallery, Jim is recruited by a group of high-class gay escorts who become his muse and his mentors. As he delves deeper into this world of beauty and decadence, Jim's own artistic talents begin to emerge, but so too do the risks of his "curse" – a condition that leaves him prone to blackouts and emotional ecstasy in the presence of art.
