Reporter Carl Kolchak (Darren McGavin) investigates a series of bizarre murders in Seattle, where every 21 years, a killer targets young women, drains their blood, and disappears into the night. As he delves deeper, Kolchak discovers that these killings have been occurring with eerie regularity since the late 1800s, and he suspects an immortal killer who needs human blood to sustain his immortality.
