In Jamaica, 1973, a young boy witnesses his brother's brutal assassination and is given refuge by a powerful Don, who sends him to London ten years later. There, D must navigate his past, including a confrontation with the man who killed his brother, all while trying to provide for his estranged daughter and reconcile with his ex-girlfriend.
