Barry

Barry, a young Barack Obama (Devon Terrell), forges his identity in 1981 New York City as he navigates race, divergent cultures, and ordinary life as a Columbia University college student. He struggles to feel accepted, leading to a series of encounters with people who challenge his sense of belonging, including his roommate Will (Ellar Coltrane), neighbor Charlotte Baughman (Anya Taylor-Joy), and PJ (Jason Mitchell). As Barry grapples with his place in society, he also faces personal crises, including the loss of his father in a car accident.
