Kat Graham as Abby Sutton, a struggling photographer inherits an antique Advent calendar that may be predicting the future -- and pointing her toward love. She begins to connect what is inside each day to real life, believing the calendar is magical. Her friend Josh gifts her boots on December 1, and she meets Ty Walker after his tree falls off his car onto hers. As Abby continues dating Ty, but struggles with feelings about the calendar, Josh surprises her by telling her he bought a studio for them to photograph together, leading to their romance.
