The Card Player

A serial killer known as the Card Player is kidnapping young women in Rome, using a webcam set-up to challenge the police to play hands of Internet poker. If the police lose, the kidnapped victim is tortured and murdered on-screen. As Italian detective Anna Mari teams up with British cop John Brennan to find out the identity of the murderer, they must navigate a web of clues and red herrings to uncover the truth before it's too late.
