In 2159, Earth is overpopulated and diseased, while its citizens live in extreme poverty on a luxurious space station called Elysium. Secretary Delacourt will stop at nothing to enforce anti-immigration laws, but Max agrees to take on a daunting mission that could bring equality to these polarized worlds.
