Close follows Noomi Rapace as Sam Carlson, a close protection officer assigned to protect Sophie Nélisse's character, Zoe Tanner, a troubled child and heiress to a mining company. The two are targeted by kidnapping attempts while on a trip to Morocco, forcing them to flee the country with Conall Sinclair, Sam's superior and friend, until they uncover a web of corruption involving Zoe's stepmother, Rima Hassine, and her CEO position.
