A Most Violent Year

In 1981 New York City, oil company owner Abel Morales (Oscar Isaac) tries to adhere to his own moral compass amid the rampant violence, corruption and decay that threaten his family and business. His wife Anna (Jessica Chastain), a balancing force in his life, is hiding secrets of her own, including skimming money from their company. As the investigation by Assistant District Attorney Lawrence heats up, Morales must navigate the treacherous world of organized crime and confront his own desperation to protect his family and business.
