The New Romantic

Blake Conway (Jessica Barden), a journalism student, becomes a sugar baby to escape her post-graduation fate and documents her experiences in her column "The Hopeless Romantic". Along the way, she navigates complicated relationships with wealthy men, including Ian (Timm Sharp), who offers her money but also raises questions about prostitution. As Blake struggles to understand the nature of her relationships, she must confront the ethics of writing about them for her column and decide what it means to be a sugar baby.
