Sherpa

The film "Sherpa" (2015) tells the story of Phurba Tashi, a Sherpa who has made 21 Mount Everest ascents and leads a team for New Zealander Russell Brice's expedition company, Himex. The documentary explores Sherpa culture, their spiritual relationship with the mountain, and the heavy work and risks they take to support foreign climbers.
