On the eve of the Challenger explosion in 1986, a hot-headed engineer named Adam (Eric Hanson) makes a desperate race against the clock to call off the launch, convinced that the O-ring seals will fail and kill everyone on board. The decision pits him against the company's business priorities and NASA's mission. Dean Cain plays Larry Arnold, a lawyer representing Adam in his struggle.
