Idealistic young attorney Adam Hall takes on the death row clemency case of his racist grandfather, Sam Cayhall, a former Ku Klux Klan member he has never met. As Adam delves into the case, he uncovers inconsistencies in the facts and begins to question the official narrative surrounding the bombing that killed his family's civil rights lawyer. With the help of his aunt Lee and a mysterious informant, Adam digs deeper, exposing a wider conspiracy that threatens to upend Sam's execution.
