Braid

Two young artists, Petula and Tilda, seek refuge in their mentally unstable childhood friend Daphne's rural mansion after losing their stash of money, hoping to find a safe haven among her wealth. Instead, they are drawn into an elaborate game of permanent make-believe, where Daphne forces them to participate in increasingly bizarre and dangerous scenarios, blurring the lines between reality and fantasy. As the game progresses, Petula begins to question her surroundings, only to discover that she has been trapped in this twisted world within Daphne's mansion all along.
