Heart and Souls

A chance encounter between life and death sets off a whimsical chain of events in 1993's "Heart and Souls". Four strangers, who meet their untimely demise on a San Francisco trolleybus in 1959, find themselves eternally entwined to the life of a child born at the moment of their deaths, baby Thomas. As Thomas grows up, he becomes unaware of his childhood guardians, but they eventually reappear when they realize they need his help to rectify their unfinished lives. With Thomas's reluctant assistance, the ghosts work to resolve their final business and find redemption, leading to a heartwarming conclusion that celebrates the power of love and forgiveness.
