Whiteboyz

In a small Iowa town where being white is the norm, three would-be "hoods" yearn to be African American, seduced by the fast money and easy women of gangsta rap. Led by Flip, who practices rapping in front of the mirror and sells flour as cocaine, they embark on a misadventure-filled journey to Chicago's Cabrini–Green housing project, where they come into conflict with actual criminals and the police. The film is a coming-of-age story that explores themes of identity, class, and cultural appropriation.
