Out to Sea

Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau star as a pair of con artists who convince their brother-in-law Herb (Walter Matthau) to take an all-expenses-paid luxury cruise in search of rich, lonely ladies to dance with, only to find themselves caught up in a romantic comedy of errors. With a cast of colorful characters, including Gloria DeHaven and Dyan Cannon, the film follows Charlie's misadventures as he tries to win over two beautiful women: Liz LaBreche, a luscious heiress, and Vivian, a lovely widow who is under the impression that Herb is a doctor. As Herb navigates his feelings for both women, the trio must outsmart the tyrannical cruise director Gil Godwyn, played by Brent Spiner, in order to find love and happiness.
