In 1980s Oslo, a teenager's quest to launch Norwegian Black Metal results in a violent outcome. The film tells the story of Euronymous, the co-founder of Mayhem, who is deeply embroiled in the early days of the black metal scene, marked by self-destruction and chaos. As Euronymous' obsession with music grows, so does his darkness, ultimately leading to a tragic confrontation that will have far-reaching consequences for those involved.
