Palpably tense and thematically complex, this is deeply uncomfortable viewing, with a graphic but wholly justified rape scene that serves as a catalyst for Sascha's transformation from carefree trophy girlfriend to avenging force against her abuser. Set against the stunning backdrop of Bodrum's Turkish Riviera, "Holiday" expertly navigates the complexities of power dynamics and toxic relationships, culminating in a shocking climax that challenges the audience's expectations.
