The Third Secret

A renowned London psychoanalyst, Dr. Leo Whitset, is found injured from a gunshot wound in his home, leading to a coroner's verdict of suicide, but one of his patients, Alex Stedman, a successful American newscaster for British television, suspects murder. Dr. Whitset's 14-year-old daughter Catherine enlists Alex's aid in finding the killer to preserve her father's reputation, as she believes he was murdered due to his treatment of her paranoid schizophrenia. As Alex investigates the backgrounds of three other patients, he discovers each harbors a secret known only by the murdered man, leading him on a complex and disturbing journey to uncover the truth behind Dr. Whitset's death.
