In this offbeat comedy, John Turturro stars as Fioravante, a man who becomes a professional "gigolo" to help his cash-strapped friend Murray (Woody Allen) in New York City's vibrant Jewish community. As Fioravante navigates the ups and downs of love, friendship, and sexual fantasy, he finds himself caught up in a complex web of relationships that challenge his own values and desires. With the help of Murray, Fioravante must balance his desire for independence with his growing connection to two women - Avigal (Sharon Stone), a lonely widow who sparks a romance, and Dovi's wife (Vanessa Paradis).
