In the depths of the Atchafalaya Basin's summer swamplands, a gruesome animal smuggling deal gone wrong unleashes a monstrous sea creature into the bayou. The ensuing chaos claims the life of local Jackson at a beachside restaurant, prompting Sheriff Watson to wrongly blame an escaped pack of gators.
