The Mule

The Mule is a poignant and charming film that tells the story of Earl Stone, an 88-year-old Korean War veteran who becomes a drug courier for a Mexican cartel after his business goes bankrupt. Unbeknownst to him, he's just signed on as a "mule" to transport cocaine through Illinois, earning him thousands of dollars and a new sense of purpose. As Earl becomes more involved with the cartel, he must navigate his complicated past and confront the consequences of his actions, all while evading the DEA agents tasked with taking him down.
