The Fatal Encounter

In 18th-century Joseon dynasty Korea, King Jeongjo faces a perilous palace life amidst opposition and threats from those around him who harbor political ambitions. He prepares himself for possible attacks by working out alone in the palace, but only his loyal court servant Gap-soo truly knows how to protect him. When the deadliest assassin of the secret group sent to kill Jeongjo infiltrates the palace, he must navigate a web of loyalty and betrayal to save the king's life, all while confronting his own troubled past as an orphan trained by a ruthless master.
