Scott Baio as Barney Springboro is a high school student who acquires telekinetic powers after an experiment goes awry. He must navigate his new abilities while dealing with typical teenage issues like crushes and friendships. As he uses his powers to manipulate objects and people around him, the film blends science fiction with teen comedy and sex comedy elements, culminating in a wild and chaotic prom night finale.
